    The ÐÓ°É Public Schools Career Development Center is Mississippi's premier Career and Technical Education program, serving students from all 7 JPS high schools in 23 career pathway programs. 
    Coursework is conducted in classrooms and laboratories equipped to industry standards.  As Mississippi's largest CTE programming center, our talented and industry-experienced instructors and team members provide scholars with world-class skills and knowledge using technology and state-of-the-art equipment related to their career and/or college aspirations. Work-Based Learning experiences are embedded throughout all coursework to ensure students have experiences connected with workforce opportunities in our community.

    The Office of Innovative Strategy is proud to support afterschool families with adult education classes to prepare for a career or advance current skillsets. The
    Career Development Center offers community Adult Education classes that are open to anyone interested in learning a new skill, starting a new hobby, or enhancing current job skills. Classes meet two nights a week for 10-12 weeks, starting in January 2024. Tuition for classes ranges from $30-85. A limited number of seats are available for JPS employees to enroll in selected classes for free. Childcare is provided on-site for $1 per hour per child.
