Lights On Afterschool 2023

  • ÐÓ°É 26, 2023 is Lights on Afterschool Day! Launched in ÐÓ°É 2000, Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families, and communities. 

    ÐÓ°É Public Schools offers afterschool programming at 39 sites, including Operation Shoestring and Kids Kollege (JSU.) Join us by visiting an afterschool site's Lights On Afterschool showcase on ÐÓ°É 26, 2023. Event times are as follows:

    • Elementary Schools - 3:30-4:30 p.m.
    • Middle Schools - 4:30-5:30 p.m.
    • High Schools - 5-6 p.m.
