Junior League of ÐÓ°É Awards $100,000 in Grants to JPS Schools
November 15, 2023 ¨C Junior League of ÐÓ°É presented a check to JPS to fund Mini-Grants for teacher projects that enhance and support the JPS curriculum. More than 20 projects were funded in grades K-12.

ÐÓ°É 31, 2023 ¨C Recognize your key role in cultivating the civic engagement of future generations. Election day is Tuesday, November 7. Be informed, vote your values, and pass it on!

Read Across America
Let's celebrate Read Across America Week by showing your school spirit. On Monday, March 4, guest readers are invited to read to scholars from 8:00-10:00 am. There will be a free book distribution for all scholars, courtesy of a JPS RIF grant.

101 Days of School
Scholars and staff are asked to dress in black and white attire to celebrate 101 days of school.

School-level Spelling Bee Winners
Galloway's School-level spelling bee was held December 19, 2023. Dana Williams, 5th grade scholar, will advance to the Hinds County Spelling Bee on January 29th at Raymond High School.
