Five JPS Educators Receive National Board Certification

February 9, 2024 – Michelle Brown, Alexandria Drake, Dr. Cathy Dunston, Dawn Husband, and Rhonda Murphy Johnson successfully completed the rigorous National Board Certification process in December 2023.

Michael D. Johnson Foundation Announces 2023 Scholarship Winners, Accepting Submissions for 2024

February 5, 2024 – Jessie Williams of Jim Hill is the grand recipient of the 2023 MDJ Scholarship. Three senior athletes from Murrah were runners-up. Applications are being accepted for 2024.

Murrah Coach Named To 2023-2024 Tomorrow’s 25 Coaching Fellowship Class

January 23, 2024 – In her first year as head coach of her alma mater, Murrah girls' basketball coach Candace Foster has been selected for the inaugural class of the Mississippi Excellence in Coaching Fellowship.
