Students from all academies have gained valuable educational experiences, that prior to the implementation of the academies, was not available to many of them. Access and exposure to career options and college opportunities has been provided on a large to scale to students as a result of the academy benchmarks and goals. To date 9th-grade students in the freshman academies have visited 17 state colleges and universities, exposing more than 2000 students to post-secondary opportunities. Our 10th-grade students in the career academies have also visited several job sites and had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals.

Teachers have also had the opportunity to engage in professional development activities that allow career professionals and educators to create rigorous and relevant lessons for students.
