He's produced and premiered over ten productions in Mississippi's capital city ranging from documentaries, stage plays, short films, and dinner theaters. His teaching career allowed him to teach abroad in the United Arab Emirates.

Travel became an integral part of his life once he moved abroad. As a result, he has now visited over 30 countries, four continents, and counting! J. Lee recently penned his first children's book entitled "Junior's Adventures". This release is the first installment in a series of stories that will chronicle J. Lee's move abroad to the United Arab Emirates and his many travels through the eyes of a child.

As an urban intercity educator, J. Lee knows the importance of exposure; therefore, he wants to inspire children to see the world! He hopes that The Junior's Adventures Series will expose children to travel and open their eyes to a world outside their norm. J. Lee believes the best education he received was through travel, and he looks to translate those lessons into his stories.
