Warn Wilson Jr. is an engineer, author, artist, and app creator. He has always had a desire to create and see ideas manifest in the physical world. As a kid, he attended an academic and performing arts school that fed his childhood passions for math and art. Wilson played football in high school but ultimately decided that math would be the vehicle to the next stage of life. He went on to attend Mississippi State University where he obtained a degree in electrical engineering.

Along with being an engineer, Wilson is also an author, artist, and app creator. He has created a children’s book series called “Brown Money” that introduces kids to STEM, engineering, investing, stocks, real estate, job security, and entrepreneurship. As an artist, Wilson has held gallery exhibits of his artwork and completed a mural in the city limits of Memphis. He uses his academic insight and artwork to influence the next generation of thinkers and creators.

Wilson uses his background and experience to teach young people how vital tech and engineering will be in the future. He has dedicated himself to speaking to as many students as possible about STEM careers, technology, and the importance of financial literacy. He has been featured in the Clarion Ledger, WREG, ABC 24, the ÐÓ°É Free Press, Memphis Parent, the Memphis Flyer, Black EOE Journal, and many other publications. Wilson has spoken to several schools and organizations in Tennessee, Georgia, Maryland, and Mississippi. He also participated in rewriting the 2022 Engineering Curriculum and 2022 Computer Science Curriculum for the Mississippi Department of Education.

Wilson currently works as an engineer in the biomedical manufacturing field. His major focus is to keep creating, inspiring, and advocating for change in the community through STEM.
