Join the PTA/PTSA

JPS parents can become involved in their child's school through the PTA (Parent Teacher Association) or PTSA (Parent Teacher Student Association). These groups advocate for students and provide resources to parents to support students' success.

Every school in JPS has an active PTA/PTSA that is a member of the ÐÓ°É Council PTA/PTSA. The mission of the ÐÓ°É Council is to encourage local units to strengthen the bond among the school, home and community. They help parents to get involved in the activities of the school and the educational experiences of their children. The council also assists local units in becoming effective resources at their schools.
