Mr. Joseph Frost

Mr. Frost received his Master of Fine Arts degree in Script and Screenwriting, and a Master of Arts in Communication: Theatre (Acting and Directing) both from Regent University in Virginia Beach.  He was a Professor of Theatre for 16 years, continues to adjunct teach online courses for the University of Mobile, and has served as a board member for the Mississippi Theatre Association, the Southeastern Theatre Conference, Christians in Theatre Arts, and for local theatres the Fish Tale Group Theatre and Hearth and Mantel Theatre.  Mr. Frost was honored with the Mississippi Alliance for Arts Education Excellence in Higher Education in Theatre Award in 2019, and was the first artist awarded the Mississippi Arts Commission's Theatre Directing Fellowship in 2020.  He is the artistic director of the floodlight theatre company, and a part of the Collage Arts collective in ÐÓ°É.

Mr. Frost is in his second year serving as Arts Coordinator for Wells APAC, and is looking forward to another year of supporting this wonderful program - and happy that along with his theatrical background, he can bring his experience as a professional musician, aspiring visual artist, and marginal dance participant, and help to build the learning environment for the students at Wells APAC.
