Talk About The Problem is a peer mediation program making a difference in schools every day. Mississippi schools have the 2nd highest rate of school suspensions in middle and high schools. At Whitten Preparatory Middle School, students are trained as mediators and assist their peers who are in conflict reach meaningful, mutually agreeable resolutions which result in stopping conflicts before they escalate to violence, detention, or suspension.T.A.P. empowers students to strengthen their schools by building communication and leadership skills that will last a lifetime and bolster an environment that sideal for teaching and learning.
