Hello world! I'm Mrs. Manuel-Dennis and I'm one of the dynamic teachers of the awesome high school team at CCAS. I teach 9th-12th grade science which includes: Biology I and II, Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology. I have been in education for 15 years with the last 8 being at CCAS.  I have been named Teacher of the Year in 2014, Employee of the Year in 2015, Superintendent’s Golden Bow Tie Award of Excellence in 2014, and PBIS Teacher of the 2nd Quarter in the JPS High School Division. I am a proud graduate of Lanier High School (833!) and ÐÓ°É State University. I received my Bachelor's in Biology, Masters in Biology, and currently enr9olled in the Specialist program in counseling at JSU. I look forward to redirecting students to help them become responsible adults, productive citizens, and promote academic achievement through a variety of instructional strategies. 

Hello I am Mrs. K. Graves. I am the High School English (English II-IV) teacher. I am delighted to work with the students here at Capital City. I am a graduate of ÐÓ°É Public Schools, Jim Hill High School.  I received my bachelors from The Great ÐÓ°É State University and my Masters from Belhaven University. Some of my hobbies includes spending time with family and friends, bowling, sewing and relaxing. My favorite quote is "The only time success comes before work is in the dictionary." As a teacher of our future I want to instill in the students that nothing is given and success must be earned through hard work and dedication.

My name is Mr. W. Lewis and I am a ninth grade teacher here at CCAS. I have worked with students of all age groups, but primarily middle and high school students. I am a proud graduate of ÐÓ°É State University where I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in education. I enjoy working with the students of CCAS and will continue to do my part in redirecting students towards success! 

Greetings! I am Mr. L. Morris, the seventh grade mathematics teacher at CCAS. It is exciting and rewarding to work with our students here. During my career, I have worked with all grade levels and age groups. I enjoy coming to work each day. I am a proud graduate of Mississippi Valley State University. I have been working with students for over 30 years. I am a former football, basketball, soccer, and track coach. I know for a fact all students can achieve no matter who they are. It is a joyful experience watching students grow! 

Hello! My name is Ms. T. Nash and I am the seventh grade English and Language Arts teacher here at CCAS. I am delighted to serve the students who have been entrusted in my care. Additionally, I am elated to what, what I believe is the best job in the world. Throughout my career, I have had many opportunities to educate students of various ages. I genuinely enjoy serving as an educator and eagerly anticipate coming to work each day.

I am a proud graduate of Mississippi State University where I received my Bachelor's as well as my Master's Degree. I have many years of experience working with students. I am currently pursuing a Specialist in School Counseling.

My belief as it relates to teaching is as follows: Every student has the ability to excel academically was long as he or she is receptive to learning and is willing to truly invest in the learning process. 

Hello! I am Mr. Osborne and I teach high school mathematics here at CCAS. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Mississippi State University. Additionally I received a Master’s Degree from both the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. For over a decade I worked in various programs targeted toward improving the lives of youth. I then became an educator and have taught for nearly 15 years. I am honored to be a part of the CCAS family. Our students, like all students, have value and worth. It’s my privilege to serve as their teacher. 

Greetings! My name is Mr. M. Sanders and I am a 4th-6th grade teacher at CCAS. I have worked in the school system for over 8 years now and have gained much knowledge in this setting. I am a graduate of ÐÓ°É State University where I received my Bachelors of Science degree and Belhaven University where I received my Masters of Arts degree. My belief is that routine enhances the work experience! 

Hi! I am Mrs. Thomas! Here at CCAS I am the elementary and sixth grade Language Arts and Science teacher. I am a graduate of both the prestigious Tugaloo College where I received my Bachelor's in English and the distinguished Belhaven University where I received a Master's in teaching. My passion for teaching stems from my love of learning. My ultimate goal as an educator is always to make learning fun and exciting. My motto is, "To teach is to touch lives forever!"
