  • Peeples Middle School is one of 10 middle schools in the ÐÓ°É Public School District. The school serves students in grades 6-8.

    Peeples Middle School, with the support of all stakeholders, will provide each scholar with a quality education in a safe, clean, positive, and supportive environment.

    • Increase academic proficiency and growth in all academic areas by 15%.
    • Decrease discipline by 25%.
    • Increase average daily attendance from 89.6% to 95%.

    Student Uniforms:

    Students may wear these colors as part of the school uniform: khaki and navy bottoms, skirts, and dresses. Additionally, each grade level is assigned the following color for their uniform tops: 

    6th Grade: White

    7th Grade: Gold 

    8th Grade: Black

    Students will have the option of wearing school t-shirts and jeans only on announced Fridays. Notification will be provided in advance for these special days.

    Special Programs

    English Language Learners

    The goal of the ELL program is to ensure students’ English language development, language proficiency and academic success. The ELL program serves students whose primary language is not English in grades Pre-K through 12. Sample is one of five district schools that offers English as a Second Language (ESL) courses through this program.

    21st Century

    The 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) is a school-based center that keeps children safe during times when they are not in school. These centers provide academic enrichment, homework tutors, and cultural, developmental, and recreational opportunities. Students also receive afternoon snacks and transportation home.
