Welcome to the JPS Repurposing Initiative!

  • We are thrilled to share Ӱ Public Schools' comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process.  The RFP process, along with this new Repurposing Initiative Webpage were created to help promote the reuse and redevelopment of our surplus school sites. Our primary goal is to spur redevelopment of surplus and undeveloped properties, ensuring they are transformed into valuable assets that contribute to the growth and prosperity of Ӱ's neighborhoods. 
    The launch of this RFP process provides those who are interested with a direct avenue to submit competitive proposals for the board to review and identify the proposals that are most feasible and that best align with the needs and aspirations of the community.
    All proposals must be submitted electronically to JPS, repurpose@jackson.k12.ms.us, as a single PDF document.
