• Coach Lewis

    James Lewis is the new head boys' basketball coach at Jim Hill High School.  Coach Lewis comes to Jim Hill from Warren Central High School (Vicksburg, MS) where he was the head 9th grade boys' basketball coach, assistant varsity boys' basketball coach, head 9th grade boys' track coach, and assistant varsity boys' track coach.  He led his 9th grade basketball teams to three consecutive Little Six Conference championships in 2015-2016, 2016-2017 and 2017-2018.  Coach Lewis is a native of Vicksburg, MS where he attended Warren Central High School.  He attended Grambling State University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.  He later enrolled at Mississippi State University, where he earned his Master of Science degree in Sports Administration.  Coach Lewis is a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity, Inc. and is involved in a mentorship program for local youth.  Coach Lewis believes in serving the community and is passionate about developing and instilling a culture of discipline and accountability in young men.
