The development of new infrastructure in Canad
In Ontario, , to be spent entirely on infrastructure projects within the province. Overall, 66 projects were announced to improve roads, highways and bridges, and over one million residents will benefit 51 water and wastewater projects, ensuring clean, safe drinking water.
Many of these projects will be in , a region which includes Toronto, Ottawa, and 11 other cities with populations over 100,000 people, has a combined population of over 12 million people. This represents 35% of the total Canadian population, yet only takes up 0.008% of the land mass area of the province of Ontario, or about 0.00085% of the total land mass of all of Canada.
The opportunities are abundant for the construction industry, as many companies found who were in attendance last week in Toronto at the . The show was held concurrently with PM Expo, HomeBuilder & Renovator Expo and World of Concrete Pavilion, as well as IIDEXCanada.
