2013 was a big year at Ӱ. We celebrated 40 years in business kicking off our celebrations at another successful . We looked at the around the world, and showed how reducing water permeability can improve durability, and lead to more sustainable infrastructure. A new from the University of Hawaii, evaluated the effects of corrosive seawater on rebar embedded in concrete, comparing different pozzolans and crystalline admixtures.
Some of our projects won awards in 2013, such as , and Torrent Shotcrete winning the award for , for their work on Van Dusen Botanical Gardens. Ӱ also took home three awards from the in Animation (); Booth Design (World of Concrete Booth); and for a Direct Marketing Campaign.
We finished the year off with a great party for our supporters and customers, finishing off our !
